Drilling Sectors – Mines & Oil
Oil & Gas Drill Rig moves
The movement of drill rigs is generally to fairly inaccessible locations, therefore we start with a detailed route assessment to ensure that there will be no surprises along the route. Where problems or concerns are raised we have to look at alternate routes.
A standard rig move (in and later out or relocation) takes 25 trucks to transport all the parts over 10-12 days in either direction. This includes both the drill rig, the accommodations and any service equipment.
